This is the first year that Eric's school, Golden Leopard Martial Arts Center, performed at TwinsFest. There are thousands of folks roaming through the Metrodome to view a variety of baseball related booths and events. They performed on the Diversity Stage during a half hour window. They did GREAT!
Here Samantha, Benjamin and friend Sienna are doing a Japanese dance that a local group was teaching. It was really fun watching them get out there and give it a try!
Sam and Wil never seem nervous when they perform. Here you can see Wil's hard work and practice pays off.

Although Ben is not officially a student, he practices very hard. At the beginning of the demo, he really thought he was going to be a part of the performance. He patiently watched and waited. At the end, he was able to go and "bow out" with the rest of the students. He was glowing and it was really neat to watch the other kids embrace him!
After the demonstration, we decided to stick around and walk through TwinsFest. It was our first time here. From the beginning, Ben had his eye on the bouncy houses. He was just waiting for us to say it was time. Rather than the regular bouncy house, the kids choose the obstacle course style. 
I felt sure that Ben would struggle crawling up the wall and getting through parts of it. Sam was readily available and thrilled to be called upon for her older sister duties. Ben, of course, proved me wrong. By the second (of 6 times) through, he was able to stretch those legs and pull himself right up the wall!

Samantha and William snuck in a face painting while I waited in line for the obstacle course for them.
There were several areas where the kids could get first hand experience playing baseball. Here William takes a turn on the field batting.
Bens turn. He needed some extra help. The first two times he watched the ball and didn't know he was suppose to hit it.
William LOVED running the bases. After his turn was over, he just ran the bases with the next several kids in line.
Ben in action. It was all quite exciting.
What fun for everyone! Looks like it was a big success!
