This year, we put a small ice skating rink in our back yard. Although you can get much speed, it does help build balance and coordination. It really has been used a bit and I'm already trying to figure out how it could be a little bigger next year. I love having things for the kids to do here...I want them to have there needs met and not have big desires to go elsewhere for all the fun! I want home to be fun!
Samantha really wanted to put on a twirly dress and have me take photos of her on the ice. It was a fairly cold day so as soon as I put the camera away she skeedaddled inside. Here are a few of the results.
