We always enjoy the scenery, water time, fishing and some relaxation. The kids enjoy having both parents around and some uninterrupted time with their cousin, Grant.
Mom and William enjoy a little paddle boat time. The day was absolutely perfect for it.
Grant and Samantha enjoy a game of push off and fall in. A great practice of balance.
This year we even got each of the kids their own fishing poles so we could walk over to the Lake when we got back home and do a little fishing. William especially has an interest in it but as you can see, so does Benjamin.
During an early morning wake up by our family, we enjoyed a quick ride to Hayward to the local Wal-mart in search of fishing poles. Several hours later (can you believe it), we headed to the sweet downtown and started with some bakery then moved on to the candy store. The kids were in heaven and mom and dad even found a few treats they enjoyed. Benjamin is kind enough to show us one of his favorites.

Each day while either on the deck or down at the lake, there are several bald eagles soaring overhead. It really is a highlight to see these amazing birds flying overhead...almost like it is no big deal. We remind ourselves how lucky we are that they are still here when just a few years back, the were on their way to becoming extinct.
We really enjoy canoeing or paddle boating while we are at the cabin. We enjoy strolling the shore looking for whatever we may see. This plant, although we don't know what it is, we thought was beautiful.
